  Came here on a busy Friday night, but was able to grab a table right away. I tried the Miso Shrimp Carbonara. I enjoyed the creaminess and the al dente texture of the pasta. The savory pancetta went really with umami flavor of miso. The price was reasonable as well for the portion size.

  It was a great experience . After a long beautiful day of recreation in the Wasatch and an intense yoga class I had an indescribable urge for oysters and a beer. Immediately upon entering Christian assured me that my primal desire for oysters would be met. Then, upon sitting at the outside bar, Mallory approached me and confirmed my suspicions that good oysters, a cold peroni and a well prepared mignonette were headed my way. Fantastic time and will be back! Update: Owen took such good care of me and I had an epiphany. I love oysters and I love this establishment. From Owen, to Jinx(who brewed me a fresh pot of coffee - which is the type of service that truly defines a place) everyone was beyond kind. Morgan, who scanned my id, was also kind enough to charge my phone. Excellent service through and through.

  I enjoyed the food however as others have mentioned, the portion can feel small for the price. The romaine salad dressing was really good. The Pinot suggestion was nice too.

  I stopped by Copper Common and grabbed a seat at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice. I started with a Hazy IPA and asked the bartender for recommendations—definitely the right move. They suggested the lamb chops and kale salad. The lamb chops were outstanding—easily some of the best I’ve had. They came with two different sauces, both of which complemented the meat perfectly. Tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Unfortunately, the kale salad didn’t hit the same mark. It was overly salty to the point where I could only manage a bite or two. That said, the service was excellent—the waitress noticed and kindly removed it from the bill without any hassle. I ended up ordering the burger instead, which was very good. It leaned a bit on the salty side as well, but still enjoyable overall. Despite a couple of misses, the lamb chops alone are worth coming back for—and I definitely will.

  This is a casual restaurant close to the convention center with modern American fare. If you like craft cocktails, this is the place for you. They have a super interesting list of their own, very creative, cocktails. One example: the buttered bee's knees. It is made with the locally made Beehive barrel-aged gin, butter (yes), honey, and lemon. This version is better than any classic bee's knees cocktail I have ever had. The others on the list are equally creative and excellent! And of course, they do classic cocktails as well. We shared two starters: the smashed potatoes with fry dip and the smoked trout dip topped with pastrami flavor spices. The dip itself was very good, but to my taste the topping of spices overwhelmed the fish. The smashed potatoes were super- crispy, very hot, and nice. The dipping sauce was okay but not my favorite taste profile. I had the lamb merguez meatballs served with labneh and flatbread. They had a lovely taste, but were a bit dense and heavy. The salmon, however, was exquisite. Perfectly cooked, and the couscous and ramp habanero cream were great with it. The bucatini was also very good. We had the rhubarb cobbler, topped with their house made vanilla soft serve, which was delicious. The blondie sundae also was declared yummy. All in all, we had a lovely meal and great service in a casual relaxed restaurant. I recommend this place. Its location is great, being so close to the convention center.
