Making a reservation was easy and they got us in quick despite it being a weekend. We never get to come often, but everything was perfect. The host set the mood with a respectful and informative manner, the restaurant was clean and set up well. Our waitress, Bella, was kind and flexible. Her smile was bright, got our orders correct and kept our drinks filled. You’ve got to keep her around. Luis, our cook, was hard core. Professional, entertaining and our food was cooked to perfection and in a timely manner. Kept everything clean and neat. I would recommend him again. Considerate of our food allergies. Tonight was perfect. Thank you so much again Benihana’s in Salt Lake City! We cannot wait to visit you again!

I recently visited the restaurant, and while the experience was good overall, I left feeling a bit let down. The chef, Luis, was fantastic!!! he was personable and made the dinner fun. The customer service was also great, and the salad and soup they provided were really good. However, the sushi and the rest of the food just didn’t meet expectations. For what we paid, almost $50 each, it felt like the quality was underwhelming. The place also seemed a bit dated; it could really use some remodeling. Sadly, both my friends and I didn’t enjoy it enough to return, especially given the price. I hope they can improve, as the potential is there, but unfortunately, I won’t be back.

Offers a vibrant, interactive teppanyaki dining experience that feels more like a show than just a dinner. While the entertainment and signature fried rice were nice, inconsistencies with wait times, premium pricing, l erratic food quality, and inconsistent customer service make it a mixed bag. Our waitress was great at first, but MIA as soon as chef arrived at table, and never came back to refill drinks or check on food needs, only reappearing to bring bill.

We had Timothy for our dinner experience and he was outstanding. Not only was his cooking phenomenal but he was very entertaining, talented & just an overall delight. We had 9 in our group so the table was a bit crowded but that is the only "meh" thing of the night. Wonderful! Request him if you can!!

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Benihana’s hibachi experience is always consistent and entertaining, a great place to celebrate any occasion or just for a nice dinner. The menu offered a good variety of meats and fish all cooked before your eyes and also a good amount of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to fit everyone needs. We tried the special menu with the ribeye and A5 wagyu along with the tuna and steak yakisoba dishes. Everything was cooked to our liking and so flavor! Big thank you to our chef, Ramon, for making it such a fun night. Make sure to make a reservation as there is limited space in the restaurant and can get very busy, very fast. Also, if you park in the garage off state street, you can get validation at the hostess stand before you leave. Can’t wait to go back!
