Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
SUPPORT Utah is committed to making www.supportutah.org accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to find and support local Utah businesses, regardless of how they browse the web.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
What we do
- Semantic HTML landmarks and a “skip to content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Keyboard-operable menus, dialogs, and forms with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and labels for form fields.
- Color choices and contrast aimed at meeting AA contrast ratios.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We continue to test and improve the site, and some third-party content or embedded tools may not yet be fully accessible. If you encounter a barrier, we want to hear about it and will make reasonable efforts to fix it.
Reporting a barrier
If you have trouble using any part of SUPPORT Utah, or need information in a different format, please email [email protected] with a description of the issue and the page involved. We aim to respond promptly and resolve issues as quickly as we can.
