SUPPORT Utah (“we,” “us”) operates the local-business directory at www.supportutah.org. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, and phone number when you create an account or claim a listing.
  • Business information — details you provide about a business you list or manage.
  • Contact submissions — information you enter into lead forms, newsletter signups, listing reports, category requests, and feedback.
  • Usage data — pages viewed and basic device/browser information, used to operate and improve the site.
  • Payment data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

  • To operate the directory, publish listings, and connect customers with businesses.
  • To send transactional messages (account, listing, and billing notices).
  • To send marketing emails or SMS only where you have opted in — you can opt out at any time.
  • To prevent abuse, spam, and fraud.

Service providers we share with

We use trusted third parties to run the service. Each processes data only to provide its function:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and bot protection (Turnstile).
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • HighLevel — our CRM, for managing owner/lead relationships and sending opted-in email/SMS.
  • Google — Maps and Places data.
  • Anthropic — AI generation for editorial and listing-summary features.

We do not sell your personal information.

SMS & email

We send marketing SMS and email only to people who opt in. Message and data rates may apply to SMS. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Transactional messages (e.g. a receipt or a listing-status update) may still be sent as part of operating your account.

Your choices

  • Access, update, or delete your account information from your dashboard, or by contacting us.
  • Opt out of marketing messages at any time.
