We were looking to replace our aging (and dangerous) deck with a pergola, but we had so many questions and felt there were more than 10 steps we needed to figure out! After meeting with Shae we learned possibilities and costs, and that helped us be excited and comfortable with the proposal. Instead of a complex task, it was broken into steps with an order of operations. So really, after the first step of choosing Blackrock Decks, all the other steps were in the hands of someone we trusted. The schedule was clearly explained and their frequent texts explained what was done, what they had seen when they inspected, what would be done next and when, and asking if we had any questions. The price was fair and the crews were professional and treated our house like they were working on their own. We love our new outdoor living space and feel it has increased the value of our home. 5 stars!!! Highly recommend!!!

Update 2/26- we had blackrock out again for doing a railing on our retaining wall.They did an amazing job to make it look so clean and nice. High quality craftsmanship and we love it. OG post 6/25- Blackrock decks were great to work with! Shae was very helpful during the quote, and they kept me updated as to when the project would start (it was about 2 months after the half deposit was paid). They came and did a great job, and we love the finished product. I’ll include a before pic of set of paver steps that had sunk over 4” as a whole but were very uneven. Our trex stairs are perfect and match our pavilion beautifully!

I would highly recommend this company. We booked a new patio roof extension with them after taking three or four other bids they were not the cheapest they were not the most expensive but the response to questions was very Timely and we booked with them in December. They started right on time I received a daily update from them on what was going on as the build progressed the daily update showed me what subcontractor would be there and when and everything just went as smooth as could be. I never had a question on who is doing what or when I received a text almost every day and if I did have a question it was answered very promptly. So if you're looking for any type of outdoor work not just decks you can't go wrong with Blackrock

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend Blackrock Decks We’re so happy we chose Blackrock Decks for our project! After getting a second estimate (our first was with Cottonwood Custom Deck Rebuild), Blackrock offered us significantly more for nearly half the price. Their communication was excellent throughout—from start to finish they kept us in the loop, even when their full crew wasn’t available. On those days, at least one team member would still show up and make solid progress, which we really appreciated. The workmanship is fantastic. We love the two-tone design and the detailed border they added—it really makes the deck stand out. The team was friendly, hardworking, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. Just good, strong, talented young workers who did a beautiful job. While the project took a little longer than expected, the quality and care put into the final product made it absolutely worth it. If you’re not in a strict time crunch and want top-notch work at a fair price, Blackrock Decks is a great choice. We’re already thinking about hiring them again for our front yard. Highly recommend!

We loved working with Blackrock! We appreciated all the texts keeping us informed during the whole process! The men working on the deck were very nice, respectful, and helpful. They cleaned up after each day, and did an amazing job! We highly recommend Blackrock.
